“ASCENDING MT. HOOD” by Barbara Jaenicke

This is an alternate view of Mt. Hood similar to "Approach to Mt. Hood" which is the same size as this painting, wears the same frame, and could be a nice companion piece! Both paintings use careful design using scale and proportion to create the sense of enormous size of this mountain, while standing on it. Mt. Hood is located in Oregon, about 50 miles outside of Portland, and is the highest mountain in Oregon.
