“ I encountered this mountain goat and numerous others on a rigorous hike with my wife in the Cabinet Mountains along the Montana-North Idaho border. We trudged carefully along with great difficulty in this steep forbidding landscape, and meanwhile watched as the mountain goats all around us navigated impossible terrain seemingly without effort. This scene is my attempt to capture the glowing light as it glinted off the rocks and seemed to illuminate the goats with a soft warm glow.” - Kasey Nixon
