I believe those words describe a few key ingredients a person needs to possess to help make it though life...through the parts that can be tough.
I’d like to think these are character traits that I possess. Honestly, I do know I’m not all that stoic. But, I do admire a person - a creature who is.
I do not believe there are any of us who pass through it unscathed. I do believe we need those character traits (they are only but a few of many) to help us get through to the side of grace. I believe those things help each of us put our feet on the floor in the morning.
To stand up.
